Maui Prep STAR Camp
K-5th grade students will explore hands-on activities in science, technology, arts and recreation to foster imagination, collaboration and creativity. Students will work alongside professional engineers, artists, musicians, dancers and educators to explore weekly themes that allow students to envision, build, experiment, program, and perform. Weekly themes will be inquiry-based and curiosity driven, with much of the activities taking place in our recently constructed Maker Space Innovation Lab – an outdoor space for construction, arts and engineering. Limited number of spaces available, with preference to those children enrolling for a week or multiple weeks. There is also a Preschool Camp for three and four year olds.
Grades: K-5 with a preschool Camp for 3 and 4 year olds.
Dates: The Camp starts on Monday, June 5 and goes through Friday, July 21 for a total of 7 weeks. Camp is every day, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Maui Prep Summer Camp FAQ
Q: What ages is the STAR Camp for?
A: Kids in grades K-5 are welcome to attend the Camp. There is also a Preschool Camp for kids aged 3 and 4.
Q: What are the dates and hours of the Camp?
A: The Camp starts on Monday, June 5 and goes through Friday, July 21 for a total of 7 weeks. Camp is every day, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Q: How much is the Camp?
A: The basic rate of the Camp starts at 250 dollars per week. However, if kids choose to attend longer, the price drops to 235 for four or more weeks. So, for example, if a child attends 3 weeks, the cost would be 250 +250 +250 or 750 for all 3 weeks. However, if families sign up for four weeks, the price would drop to 235 X 4 or a total of 940 for all four weeks. This price includes all supplies and materials.
Q: Can I sign my child up for whatever weeks I want?
A: Absolutely. We know how busy summer schedules become, so families can sign up for any weeks of the Camp they wish. Some kids attend a few days while others come every day of the Camp. As long as there is space available, families are welcome to sign up for any weeks they wish.
Q: Is there a daily rate?
A: The daily rate is 70 dollars per day. However, please be aware that if the Camp is full, daily signups may not be available. Maui Prep Summer Camp is getting more and more popular every year!
Q: What does my child need to bring?
A: Basically, the kids need a snack and lunch every day. We take care of everything else. We will have Water Days on Friday, so on those days kids need a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen. There is a separate packing list for the preschool.
Q: What kinds of activities will the kids do?
A: STAR Camp is all about fun and learning. There will be classes in dance, music, arts, basic tech (easy robotics), martial arts and much more. In addition, kids will have time to play on our beautiful campus.
