Please come support the cause for Trucker Dukes, a 4 year old from Lahaina, who has been battling a rare form of cancer and is in his 3rd round of treatment.Trucker Dukes, the youngest son of Maui fire fighter Joshua Dukes and Maui jewelry maker Shauna Dukes, was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that has spread to 50% of his body. Maui Belly Groove is a collective of dancers featuring a dynamic organized improvisational vocabulary with the exception of their sultry solos, both modern and traditional, choreographed/improvised by each soloist.
The dancers are: Lynette Day, Kahri Sahira, Emily Aiyana and Kara Gwyn. Video of them can be seen here:

The Darshan Dance Project and Adaptations Dance Theater have most recently produced an amazing collaboration together at the Maui Fringe Festival.

Sahar, from Santa Cruz, California, has a BS degree in Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis in world music and dance and is most known for her unique interpretive style and improvisational spontaneity characteristic of classic cabaret Belly Dance.
