SATURDAY, APRIL 12 AT HAIKU COMMUNITY CENTER

An Annual Community Festival Celebrating the Past, Present and Future of Haiku, Hawaii Hai'ku Ho'olaule'a

The 21st Annual Haiku Ho`olaule`a and Flower Festival to benefit Haiku Elementary School, Haiku Community Association and Haiku Boys & Girls Club will be held Saturday, April 12th, 2014, 9am to 4:30pm, at the Haiku Community Center in Haiku, Maui. This year’s theme is “Malama Ko Aloha”, or “Cherish the Love”. Parking will be available across the street from the Haiku Community Center for a small fee. The event is FREE.

The Maui community and visitors alike are invited to bring their families and lawn chairs, and spend the day with the Haiku community to enjoy fabulous live entertainment, culinary delights from local restaurants and the Haiku PTA, the famous Haiku Bake Sale, one of the largest and most unique silent auctions on Maui, floral design and lei making contests, a Haiku historical display, and much more. The Festival continues to “Go Green”. Bring your own water bottles, plates, silverware and shopping bags if possible, and be entered in a Sustainable Living Drawing for great prizes.

There will be plenty of activities for the Keiki in the Keiki Carnival, including face painting, pony rides, a cake walk, Hawaiian crafts, and the one and only Mauisaurus Miniature Golf. Bring swimsuits and towels for the dunk tank and water bouncy castles. Purchase an All-Day BouncyBand for your kids and they can bounce the day away.
