TEDxYouth@SeaburyHall is a place for the youth of Maui to present their thoughts to the public through a speech and different performances. The x in TEDx stands for the fact that this is an event independent of the TED organization, which does the same thing as TEDx but is more well known, publicized, and is much more expensive. Though independent, this TEDx still follows strict guidelines concerning speakers and the event itself to ensure that the whole experience is a quality one for everyone involved.

TEDx is on its second year and is being held at Seabury Hall’s A’ali’ikunohua Creative Arts Center. The event will be held on March 29th. Tickets are $10 for students, $25 for adults, and $35 for generous adults who would like to buy a ticket for themselves and a student. Tickets are available on eventbrite.com. The speakers and performers will be sharing about the idea “Spirit of the Millennials” with topics such as asexuality and 3-D printing.
