Children ages 3-12 are invited to a captivating story time followed by a fun ocean-themed craft! Story Time & Craft Hour is hosted by an Ocean Naturalist and takes place every Saturday at 11:30am in Maui Ocean Center’s Hawaiians and the Sea Exhibit.

Join a Wet Naturalist at the Discovery Pool and/or Tide Pool for exciting hands-on presentations on Hawaii’s marine invertebrates. Along with learning all about sea cucumbers, sea stars and urchins, guests will have the chance to touch a few of the live spineless creatures! Included with Aquarium admission.
Talk Story & Hula Lessons with Kahu Dane Maxwell and ‘Ohana

Kahu Dane Maxwell and ‘Ohana (family) will conduct a talk story session and hula lesson at the Hawaiians and the Sea exhibit. This activity is complimentary with aquarium admission and appropriate for all ages. Schedule subject to change.
Turtle-rrific Thursday
Thursdays- February 5 and 19, March 5 and 19, April 2 and 16 at 2pm
Learn about Hawaii’s beloved green sea turtles in an up close and personal setting. Guests will learn about the biology, behavior and diet of green sea turtles from the team that cares for the animals on a daily basis. This activity is included with Aquarium admission.

Roll out your sleeping bags next to the majestic Open Ocean exhibit or mesmerizing Sea Jellies cylinder at the next Sleep with the Sharks. Explore the Living Reef together after dark, and enjoy ocean-themed activities, hands-on marine life lessons, plus much more! Includes ocean naturalist guided activities, movie time snacks, continental breakfast, a souvenir decal, and all day admission to the Aquarium the next day! For kids ages 6-13. Each child must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.
