Maui County Agricultural Festival

Ag Fest 2012

Farm animals, food booths, keiki activities and more! Everyone is welcome to attend the annual Maui County Agricultural Festival hosted by the Maui County Farm Bureau and local agricultural communities.

Mark your calendars! This fun-filled and family friendly festival will take place on Saturday April 5th on the lu’au grounds of Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapu. Come learn and explore agriculture’s important “role in the economy, environment, and lifestyle of Maui”.

Other festival highlights include learning about locally grown produce and crops, cooking tips, visiting with farm animals, story telling, barnyard games, farm activities, and a “Grown-on-Maui” recipe contest. Also, stop by the farmers market for fresh “farm to table” foods, including papayas, guavas, rambutan, and delicious organic banana bread. Visit with the farmers and agricultural experts for farming advice, tips, and questions. Learn what agriculture means to the Maui community and enjoy locally grown produce and made-in-Maui products!
