Fifth Annual Water Conservation Poster Contest
2014 Poster Contest – E Malama I Ka Wai
Calling all student artists and teachers! The Department of Water Supply is hosting its 5th Annual Water Conservation Poster Contest, and invites all teachers to enter their student’s artwork. The contest is open to all Maui County students from grades kindergarten through 12th grade. Winning entries will be published in the 2015 Water Conservation Calendar and winners will also receive a cash prize.
This year’s theme is “E Malama I Ka Wai” which means, “preserve and care for the water”. Entries must be original artwork and are highly encouraged to reflect this year’s theme as well as the importance of water conservation. The contest opens on January 2nd and the entry deadline is February 28th. All entries will be on display March 17 – 22 at the Maui Mall and all entries will receive a Certificate of Participation.
