Thanks to University of Hawaii CTAHR, the Hawaii Department of Agriculture, and various partners in the ag industry, there will be lots to learn about agriculture at the Horticulture Exhibit this year!  Gardener? Crafter? Foodie?  There is a little bit of everything. Stop by and learn how foods grow, hints on cooking, and behaviors of local insects.

Your questions on scheduled topics are welcome. The Maui Master Gardener Program will be providing information for all of your gardening questions throughout the fair, as well as selling natural Maui honey, vegetable seeds and lots of plants!

Various contests and demonstrations will also be held in the Horticulture Exhibit. Test your agriculture knowledge to win many great prizes!  Parents and keiki are invited to meet Chef Paris Nabavi from Sangrita Grill and Cantina for The Keiki in the Kitchen Exhibit on Friday, October 7, from   6 – 7 p.m., to learn about healthy keiki friendly dishes.
